By registering for, attending, or participating in a panel session or engaging with our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Purpose of the Program
The DUI Victim’s Impact Panel is a restorative justice initiative designed to educate individuals convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) about the real-world consequences of impaired driving. The program features testimony from victims of DUI-related accidents and aims to foster empathy, accountability, and behavior change in offenders.
2. Eligibility
- Offenders may attend only by court order, probation requirements, or voluntary enrollment approved by True North Recovery Collective.
- Victim Participants must apply and be approved through a formal selection and preparation process.
- General Public Access is limited unless otherwise approved by the program coordinator.
3. Participant Conduct
All attendees, including offenders and victim speakers, are required to:
- Treat all participants, staff, and moderators with respect.
- Refrain from disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding personal stories and information shared during the session.
- Attend the entire session to receive credit for participation.
Violation of these standards may result in removal from the session and/or disqualification from future participation.
4. Confidentiality and Privacy
- All stories and personal information shared during the Program are confidential and may not be recorded, shared, or disclosed outside the session.
- Attendees may not take photos, videos, or audio recordings during the panel.
- True North Recovery Collective respects the privacy of all participants and complies with applicable laws regarding personal data protection.

5. Attendance Verification
- Offenders must sign in with a valid government-issued ID or court document.
- Certificates of completion will be issued only to those who attend the full session and meet conduct requirements.
- Verification may be shared with courts, probation officers, or referring agencies as required.
6. Limitations of Liability
- True North Recovery Collective and its affiliates are not responsible for any emotional distress, discomfort, or injury resulting from participation in the Program.
- Participants are encouraged to access professional counseling or support services if they experience emotional distress.
- The Program does not provide medical, legal, or psychological advice. Participants should consult professionals as needed.
7. Modification or Cancellation
True North Recovery Collective reserves the right to:
- Modify the content, schedule, or structure of any panel session.
- Cancel or reschedule sessions with reasonable notice.
- Refuse participation to anyone who does not comply with these terms.
8. Use of Website and Materials
- All content provided through the Program’s website (including schedules, forms, and resources) is the intellectual property of True North Recovery Collective.
- Content may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from participation in the Program will be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, and any legal action must be brought in the courts of Nez Perce.
